Dccr proposes to drill one geotechnical boring (rcagi-20) located in the far eastbound lane of missouri aveenue nw north of 5411 2nd street nw. The boring will be 12 inches diameter and feet bgs, drilled by vacuum excavation methods. A monitoring well will be installed in the boring. All drilling generated waste will be drummed (solids and liquids), tested and shipped offsite for disposal. In the event the well is not completed within 1 day, the well shall be covered protected from surface water drainage, and the vertical migration of contaminants and other materials through the well casing and well annulus. A locking well cap will be installed and the rig parked over the excavation to prohibit vandalism. If no monitoring well is installed, the boring will be abandoned following ddoe requirements. I just purchased the house and the 1 foot long hedge line bordering missouri avenue is very overgrown to 6- feet tall and become overpopulated with large weeds that have killed the hedge plants in many areas. The hedge is also protruding out over the sidewalk along missouri ave. I would like to remove the weeds, trim the hedges to 36 inches tall and back away from the sidewalk, and replant matching hedges (which are california privet hedge plants) in the exact areas where i remove the weeds in order to fill in the empty space. The final hedge line will be a continuous 1 california privet hedge along the sidewalk, no more than 36 inches high, as it was originally intended (without weeds). When finished, the hedge line will comply with the public domain design guide.
