Adc.; i have not assigned an address to this lot yet. I understand mccauley dr is a city-maintained street accepted by city council on august 11, 2009. However buncombe county land records does not show or map a right-of-way for said street. We received the attached permit yesterday. It shows a proposed graded area accessed off of mccauley dr. I question if it should become necessary for the owner of lot # 5 to first obtain permission or an easement to cross what appears to be fee simple land ownership by the city of asheville mapped as pin # redacted phone number749 (versus right-of-way). A copy of a portion of the recorded plat below is unclear to me the intention of dedicating right-of-way. And who knows..
