Federal property project - smithsonian institution phased project involving the following: phase 1 - perform site and structure demolition, install new undergroud utilities, build new building consisting of public restrooms at first level, event space at second level. Building is concrete slab on grade with elevated concrete second floor slab. Roof is wood and metal truss framed. Perform upgrades to existing electrical substation and equipment. Phase 2 - perform complete renovation of existing building, including rear addition. Fit out work consists of all new mep, fp, communications, and security systems. Building inclusive of 2 stop elevator.
