3 soil borings will be conducted to the south-east of the zoo police structure and 3 soil borings will be conducted to the north and south of the pavilion associated with the mane grill. These will be drilled to a depth of 15 feet, will have a diameter of 8 inches, and will be conducted using a 3. 25 inch inner diameter hollow stem auger. 2 borings, one to the south of the pavilion and one to the south-east of the zoo police building will be converted into groundwater monitoring piezometers with well covers flush with the ground surface. In addition, a test pit will be dug 6 feet deep with dimensions of 5 feet by 5 feet adjacent to the south-east side of the zoo police building.
