The boring will be completed using conventional mud rotary drilling methods. A monitoring well will be installed 83 feet below ground surface upon completion.

Dccr proposes one geotechnical boring, nebbc-47, located in the right most lane, of the west bound w street nw. 58. 17 feet east of the 1st street nw and w street nw intersection. The location is south of 83 w street nw. The boring will be 6 inches in diameter and 1 feet deep. The boring will be completed using mud rotary drilling methods. A monitoring well will be installed at 118 feet bgs upon completion

Dccr proposes two geotechnical borings, nebbc-06 and nebbc-07, located at the government of the district of columbias, vehicle maintenance complex at 1905 west virginia ave. Ne. The borings will be 6 inches diameter and nebbc-06 will be153 feet deep and nebbc-07 will be 154 feet deep. A permanent steel outer casing will be installed and socketed feet into the potomac clay. See idw management plan and attached schematics for additional information. A monitoring well with a vibrating wire piezometer will be installed in both borings upon well completion.
