Ameritech no permits;sls request sent out by dfm brian ronie for me to inspect 21 overland industrial blvd; ameritech for work being completed without permits. Upon inspection found several metal stud walls in place. In speaking with bob forbes, he stated that they were in the process of remodeling. They had movable walls in place and "moved" them to another portion of the building. They then put in place the studded walls shown in my attached pictures. I issued them an order of correction to come in by june 2nd to obtain the proper permits or a citation will be issued. All work was to cease until permits on site. Please make note that they are creating corridors with the new walls which will need exit lighting review. There is also one horn strobe in the building and due to the newly created spaces, this strobe will be located in the corridor out of view...
