Replace the existing courtyard and alley surface which is brick and mortar on concrete with a permeable truegrid subsurface overlaid with brick in a basket weave pattern and set in sand. Planting beds will be modified slightly and a small, raised pond will be built with a wall-mounted fountain. Minimal landscape lighting would be added if allowed. It would be appreciated if guidance could be given on placement and type of lighting that would be appropriate.

To modify courtyard, including the installation of permeable truegrid subsurface, installation of brick in basket weave pattern throughout courtyard and alley, and construction of planting beds and fountain, per architectural committee approval of 01 24 17, final materials submitted 04 05 17, and stamped vcc approved 04 12 17. Note: approved work includes the retention of the mechanical units as installed in slight deviation of approved plans. Other items of concern noted during the final inspection of a previous permit including stucco conditions, newel posts, and shutters will need to be addressed under a separate permit. Note: this permit is to resolve a violation concerning work begun without a permit for which a stop work order was issued. Owner will call vcc for final inspection upon completion of work.
