We would like to remove existing railings and columns and replace with 6x6 posts and dimensional lumber for beams. Anchor the posts to the existing porch slab and hang the second story deck off the new posts. We will be removing the existing second story landing and handrails as well and replacing with traditional pine decking and framing. Additionally, there is a cement block chimney on the north side of the building that is structurally sound, but beginning to lean away from building, we would like to anchor that to the building to prevent further damage.
