We will perform five geotechnical borings on the proposed site. Three of the borings will be advanced to a depth of feet, the remaining two will be advanced to a depth of 1 feet and all will be located within the bounds of the property. The borings will be performed utilizing an atv-mounted drill rig utilizing 3. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers. The borings will generate an approximate 6-inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the boring will be backfilled with bentonite slurry.

One well will be installed to a depth of feet below ground surface per the attached work plan.

Ecs will install four (4) monitoring wells within the footprint of the planned excavation to characterize groundwater conditions, c. The locations of the proposed monitoring wells are depicted on figure 1. Monitoring wells will be installed using a track-mounted drill rig, which uses continuous flight, hollow-stem augers hsa to advance the borehole. For each monitoring well, filter sand will be placed in the annulus around the well screen and added until it is to two feet above the screen. A two-foot thick low permeability seal constructed of hydrated bentonite chips will then be placed from the top of the sand. The bentonite will be hydrated with potable water as it is poured into the annulus around the well, thereby ensuring that all bentonite is properly hydrated. Bentonite powder and portland cement slurry with a to mix ratio consisting of 1 lbs. Of bentonite powder, 94 lbs. Of portland cement hydrated with 82 gallons of water will then be placed using a tremie pipe from the top of

A griffin hollow stem auger hsa drill rig will install up eighteen 18 gravel pack wells, by advancing a 12. 25 id hsa from existing grade to a depth of feet or refusal. All drill cutting and investigating derived wastes from potentially contaminated sites shall be placed in a covered container and laboratory tested for offsite disposal by contractor. Into each well will be installed a 2 hp turbine submersible pump with discharge riser, power cord and lift cable to the surface. At the well head , a throttle valve and check valve will be installed on the effluent line, for each well will be directed through a common manifold to a baffled settling tank bst located at a location as directed by dc water or ddoe.

The five monitoring wells on the site will be abandoned per doee requirements.
