Dccr project proposes to excavate one shallow pit (rca-ph-41) for the purpose of utility location feet west of the intersection between missouri avenue and kansas avenue. The pit will be approximately 1 foot in diameter and less than 6 feet deep. The pits will be excavated using soft dig techniques (air knife and vacuum extraction). The work time to complete the excavations will be approximately 3 days and will require the full work time of 7am-7pm. The work will not impact parking meters and trees. Pedestrians will be detoured.

Dccr proposes to drill one geotechnical boring (rcagi-14) located in the parking lane of missouri ave nw, south of the listed property (231 missouri ave nw). The boring will be 12 inches diameter and feet bgs, drilled by vacuum excavation methods. A monitoring well will be installed in the boring. All drilling generated waste will be drummed (solids and liquids), tested and shipped offsite for disposal. In the event the well is not completed within 1 day, the well shall be covered protected from surface water drainage, and the vertical migration of contaminants and other materials through the well casing and well annulus. A locking well cap will be installed and the rig parked over the excavation to prohibit vandalism. No drilling spoils or excavated soils will be used as backfill. If no monitoring well is installed, the boring will be abandoned following ddoe requirements. The monitoring well or well abandonment will be completed the same day.
